It seem like when you are going through tough situations, they feel like they are lingering for an eternity. Most people hate going through nagging, irritating situations, which are usually challenges, that require research or careful planning to solve. It is easy to get caught up in the moment of these situations, giving in to fear and anxiety of the unknown results. However long or short they are, we must always remember that they are temporary, so don’t live in that moment.
Its not easy but focusing on the positives, like the solutions, lessons learned, and the hopefully positive end results, should be enough to keep you moving forward. Of course, as a Christian, meditating on the Word is extremely important and has a lasting impact to the end results. God’s Word brings peace and steadiness to your mind and emotions. It can also provide the strength, and stamina to withstand the longevity of lingering situations.
Focusing on the promises of God’s Word gives your mind something to think about instead of doubt, fear, or any other negative thought patterns that may arise. Meditating on the Word also produces wisdom, which can lead you to the resources and answers that you need to solve your challenges. This is the moment that should be captured and put on “repeat”, the moment of overcoming our temporary situations with the fuel of God’s grace, having confidence that temporary situations have an expiration date.
