Big Little Lies Book Review

My latest read, took me a while to finish.  Not that the book was boring, I was distracted by planning my home makeover plans, which I will share later.  This title, definitely keep me coming back for more, as the plot continued to spark my curiosity.  I can even remember reading the book at 4 am in the morning, and yelling out loud as while reading a major climax in the story.

This book centers around three main characters, Madeline, Celeste, & Jane.  They forged a friendship  after Jane & her son are thrust into grade school, mama drama.  As their united front continues to be true, there are underlining secrets in their lives that they have not shared as trusted friends, which have been covered with lies.  The theme centers around little lies that cover BIG secrets, filled with over the top schoolyard adult scandal.

After reading the book, I also watched the mini series based on the book, on HBO.  The show was very good, but like always, the book was better.  So if you like a good mystery or if you’re up for a little adult peer pressure, gossip, or soccer mom drama, check out this book.  I can wait to read more book by this author, which I’ve been told has a lot of great books.
